Moland to Cooper
Regd the 14th day of Feby at 12 clock att Noon
A Memorial of one indenture of lease bearing date the eighteenth day of December one thousand seven hundred and sixteen made between Thomas Moland of the city of Dublin Gent of the one part and Samuel Cooper of the town of Catherlogh [Carlow] stone cutter of the other part whereby the said Thomas Moland did demise unto the said Samuel Cooper his heirs Exrs Admrs and Assigns all that parcel of land part of the hundred acres of Catherlogh then in the possession of Morgan Largan and John Brophy containing by estimation thirty five acrs plantation measure be the same more of less bounded on the East by Mr Quiglys holding of the heathy land on the North by the late Rev Mr Harry's holding of the said heathy land on the west by the river Barrow and on the South by part of the hundred acres now held by Philp Bernard Esqr together with a small island in the river Barrow next adjoining thereto Excepting as in the said lease is excepted for and during the term of ninety nine years from the twenty fifth of March next ensuing the above date at and under the yearly rent of fourteen pounds ten shillings Sterg payable by two equal gales half yearly on every twenty ninth day of September and twenty fifth day of March in which said lease are contained the usual clauses of distraining and reentering and doing suite & service to the courts leet & Mannor Courts and courts Baron of the Manor of Catherlogh and Grinding at the mills of the sd mannor which said lease is witnessed by John Cooper merchant Robt Dent yeoman both of the town of Catherlogh and Edward Lalor of the same writing master and this memorial is witnessed by the said Edward Lalor and Thos Conyers of the said town of Catherlogh Gent

The above named Edwd Lalor maketh oath that he saw the above named Thos Moland and Samuel Cooper duly execute the above mentioned indenture of lease whereof the above writing is a memorial and saw the said Thos sign and seal the sd meml and that this dept is a subscribing witness to to the said lease and memll he delivered the said Memll to Wm Parry Dep Regr on the 14th day of Febry one thousand seven hundred and twenty three at or near twelve aclock at noon Edw Lalor Jur14o Feby 1723 cov me Will Parry Dep Regr
