Today I completed an update that has 425,907 index records from 44,938 memorials of deeds in the main database. We also now have 90,503 townland index entries and 43,094 grantor index entries. These magnificent results are only possible because of the continued work of our wonderful volunteers.

The latest update included a marriage settlement found in the townland indexes https://irishdeedsindex.net/mem.php?memorial=546068 it has the date of the groom's parents marriage settlement together with their names. Interestingly there is also a little transcription error where at one stage the groom is called the said Thomas BURY when he is actually Phineas BURY. The people doing the copying into the memorial transcription books had a very boring job and made mistakes.
